Davido slapped by MOPOL in Abuja.
Davido, arguably, is the most sought after artiste in the current Nigerian music market.
The super entertainer who is an ambassador of MTN Pulse is multi talented and this explains why he's a pianist, producer, composer and arranger of songs. Away from the appraisals, the tattoo loving artiste, going by the latest gist at our disposal might need to watch the way he talks to people and stop letting his sudden stardom derail him off radar like those who have come and gone be for him.
The fast rising star who would be collaborating with Senegalese Konvict Music boss and singer, Akon, on the remix of his rave making single, Dami Duro, we reliably gathered was recently harassed and hit by a uniformed man at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to the angry source, the musician was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by ones Nosa, a fast rising music producer precipitate manager. The show ended and according to the source, Davido who was said to be drunk to stupor insisted on leaving in a friend's car instead of going in the one that brought him, and other top artistes and crew from the hotel.
He insisted though and Nosa being his host had to drive behind them, bubble later burst when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night.
Our source revealed that the obviously tipsy Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "don't you know me, what the Bleep is wrong with you guys..." He started shouting about who he is and what guts the Mopol men had to stop his friend`s car.
This act, SWAGGDICE TV was told, infuriated one of the Mopol and while the musician was still ranting and boasting, he was landed a dirty slap and was threatened with gun to shut up if he does not want to be bathed in his blood.
The musician we were further told was immediately rushed back into the car by Nosa and his friend who had at that point got down from their bus and pleaded with the uniformed men that he's actually a popular musician especially in Lagos and was coming from a show.
The story however didn't end there as the angry Davido did not hesitate to transfer aggression to Nosa immediately they got back to the hotel. The musician we learnt went as far as telling the man who got him the Nokia performance deal to shut up and not talk when he's talking else he would slap him the way the Mopol treated him.
Nosa, the simple lifestyle dude who we learnt might have been in the entertainment industry before Davido was born, just walked away because he saw Davido as a proud boy.
Nonso, we gathered`is currently a stakeholder in Limelite Records which has signed artistes like Freestyle, Munachi Abii and many more. "He could not withstand a boy of Davido's age talk to him in such manner for trying to help him realize his mistakes and as such, had to quietly walk away. Anyway pride goes before fall so my advice is the billionaire son should thread softly." One of the eye-witnesses revealed to us.

Woman in trouble over Facebook status
The suspect, Afolakemi Mojisola Adeniyi, was arrested following a complaint lodged at the station by her former husband, Alfa Umar Gobir, that his ex-wife posted his picture on facebook and tagged him a member of the Boko Haram.
Umar told the police that he received several calls from friends and associates throughout the weekend, asking him why he joined the sect and that he kept telling them that they were mistaking him for someone else until one of his friends told him to check Facebook.
Umar said he was shocked when he saw his picture on facebook and the words written below the picture read: "This is one of the Boko Haram any time you have contact with him, bomb him."
Umar further explained: "I was sleeping on Saturday night when I started receiving calls from my friends asking me why I joined the Boko Haram sect.
"I was surprised since I did not belong to the sect, but one of my friends called me again and said I should go to Facebook. He told me that my picture was there as a member of the sect.
"I was shocked when I saw my picture on the social networking site."
Umar told the police at Ipaja that very early that day, he went to Ipaja where his ex-wife lived with her parents and reported the case to them.
His ex-wife confirmed to him that she posted the picture on Facebook because he told her that she and her child would die.
Umar told the police that few hours after the parents of his ex-wife begged him to forgive her, she posted another one on Facebook saying she did not regret her action.
The second posting reads: "Am nt regrtn of d pic upload by me 2 any 1."
When Afolakemi was arrested and the police asked her why she did it, she simply said that Umar told her that she and her child would die.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Ipaja Police Station, Titiladayo Segun, after listening to both parties, advised Afolakemi and her parents to go and beg the complainant for forgiveness because of the little child they have, adding that with the evidence before him there is no way she would not go to jail should the complainant insist on going to court.
Gobir told the police that he is yet to decide whether to take his ex-wife to court, adding that he needed to consult his family over the matter.

Court stops UNILAG name change
The order was granted by Justice Stephen Adah, while ruling in the suit brought against the May 29, 2012 renaming of the institution by the students and alumni of the University of Lagos.
The court, however, advised the litigants to harmonise the suits into one and adjourned further hearing till 4July 2012.
Joined in the suit as defendants are UNILAG, the UNILAG Governing Council, the UNILAG Senate, the Attorney-General of the Federation and the National Assembly.
President Goodluck Jonathan had last month renamed the University of Lagos after the late businessman and acclaimed winner of the June 12, 1993 presidential election, MKO Abiola.
The renaming of the institution as Moshood Abiola University was greeted by protest by students and staff of the school. Others criticised the president for not following due process in renaming UNILAG. They insisted that the president should have consulted with the National Assembly before making the pronouncement.
President Jonathan has now sent a letter to the Senate, asking it to approve the renaming of the University of Lagos.
The letter conveying the request was read on the floor of the Senate on 5 June when the plenary was kicked off by Senate President, David Mark.
President Jonathan on Sunday during a presidential media chat with four journalists said that he did not breach the consititution of Nigeria in renaming the University of Lagos.
He said the renaming the insitution is similar to the process through which the president can declare a state of emergency before subjecting the matter before the National Assembly.

Rooftop MCs soul snatcher is a father!!!
Woman caught with 66wraps of hard drugs in her genitals.
By inserting the 66 wraps of prohibited drug into her private part, NDLEA said Bala set a new record in narcotic smuggling in Nigeria.
"She inserted 66 wraps of substances that tested positive for methamphetamine weighing one kilogramme in her private parts as she attempted to board a Kenyan Airways flight to Nairobi," said Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA Head of Public Affairs.
According to him, no suspect has ever inserted such a large quantity of drugs in private part since the establishment of NDLEA in 1989.
The suspect who is a graduate of accountancy was apprehended a week ago at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, the agency said.
"The quantity of the drugs was so much that it affected her gait thus attracting attention of officials. Unfortunately, nemesis caught up with her when one of the wraps fell on the floor at the screening area as she bent down to pick up her belongings.
"Upon interrogation and examination, she confessed to the crime stating that she was asked to swallow the drug but was scared of death.
"In all, 66 wraps of methamphetamine with a total weight of one kilogramme was expelled from her private parts. Preliminary investigation revealed that she lived in Australia for about two years before she was deported in 2010," NDLEA said
"This is incredible. She was desperate but I am happy that she was promptly detected. No suspect has ever inserted such a large quantity of drugs in the country. Usually, cases of insertion are not more than 300 grammes. It is amazing" NDLEA Commander at the Lagos airport, Hamza Umar, was quoted to have said.
According to NDLEA, Bala hails from Lagos Island and lives at Ijoko in Ogun State.
"She began her primary education at Anglica Primary School, CMS, Lagos. Mande Fatima Bala also attended Anti Ayo Comprehensive High School Obalende, Lagos before studying accounting at Ife. She will be charged to court soon," NDLEA said.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the NDLEA, Ahmadu Giade, was quoted to have said that, "Apart from the quantity of drugs caught with her, her route is also a new development in drug trafficking. Drug barons now adopt a relay approach to drug trafficking. They wanted to use her to take the drug to another African country before using an indigene of that country to take the drug to other continents where the profit is higher. We are not oblivious of their moves and we are prepared to nip them in the bud."

We were paid N7000 to bomb a church in BIU- Boko haram suspects.
One of the seven suspects, Ibrahim Mohammed Babangida, who spoke with journalists from his custody said one Magaji Bala, a butcher paid N7, 500 to him as his engagement fee to carry out the dastard act.
"I was sleeping in my house when Magaji called me and handed over N7,000 to me for the operation," he said, even as one of the suspects also corroborated the claim. The suspects, Alhassan Inuwa, Ibrahim Mohammed Babangida, Magaji Bala, Nuhu Zakari, Dahiru Sa'adu, Mohammadu Nurah and Mohammed Sani told newsmen at the 21 Armoured Brigade in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, yesterday that they were butchers by profession in Biu Market and were picked up in their different houses in Biu by the JTF operatives.
The suspects also claimed to hail from Jigawa and Katsina states, adding that they came to Biu, about 187 kilometres to Maiduguri and South of Borno, to eke a living. Some gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect had stormed a local branch of the Ekklizivar Yan'uwa A Nigeria (EYN) in Borno on June 10 in a bloody shoot out, leading to the death of three worshipers. Many others were also wounded.
Sources said the gunmen, numbering about three had invaded the EYN Church (Church of the Brethren in Nigeria) while the Sunday service was going on, killing three, including a woman while many of the members sustained various degrees of injuries from gunshot.
Meanwhile, Spokesman of the Joint Task Force (JTF), Lt Col Sagir Musa, who paraded the suspects said the task force believed the seven men were involved in the Biu Church attacks. He, however, said the security agencies in the state needed the cooperation and partnership of the people to succeed. "Handling of the security situation in the country is a collective effort and as such, security agencies should not be left with the responsibility alone. There is need for partnership because it is everybody's problem. It is time we saw it as our problem especially in making information avalaible," Lt Col Musa said.
Also reacting to allegation of harassment of civilians by the JTF troops, the spokesman assured that the leadership of the task force would continue to preach, sensitize and educate the personnel on the need to maintain discipline even in the face of frustration. He noted that maintaining maximum discipline among troops was one of the major challenges of any internal operation by security agents but appealed to the people for understanding.
He also urged the residents to report cases of stolen vehicles to the police or JTF, adding that the task force had uncovered plan by the Boko Haram sect to use stolen vehicles to launch attacks on some public buildings. "Information recently available to the JTF in Maiduguri indicated that there had been desperate moves by Boko Haram to steal/snatch vehicles to be used for terrorists' activities by implanting Improvised Explosive Devices in vehicles and or through suicide bombing," he said. He warned that owners of such stolen vehicles, "if used for terrorism acts would be treated as collaborators and accomplices.". TB Joshua in trouble over Ex malawi president's death
Late Mutharika Is A Frequent TB Joshua's Visitor
In a report from Nyasa Times, President Joyce Banda announced an inquiry to probe the circumstances around the controversial leader's death on April 5, including the medical attention he received. TB Joshua prophesised Mutharika's death. The new Malawian leader frequents Nigeria to visit the prophet.
DPP spokesman Nicholas Dausi, has insisted that TB Joshua should be quizzed. Mutharika died in a sudden cardiac failure on April 5 exactly two months before this date in which TB Joshua said an old African president would die in two months' time.
"We must find out how he can foretell those things," Dausi, Mwanza Central MP told Parliament. According to Saint Francis of Assisi, thus not Godly. It is not an exhaustible instrument of life," said Dausi, known for his penchant of quoting medieval or great authors and academicians.
Dausi made the call during his contribution to the budget statement, saying Malawians should also take interest on how some TV stations like Emmanuel TV and TB Joshua knew of Mutharika's demise.
DPP leader in Parliament Dr George Chaponda is on record telling the House that the probe should "include interviewing those who were celebrating after the death of the late President and slaughtering cows."
Chaponda said the inquiry committee should be independent and come out with objective findings and will not be used as an instrument for impunity or retribution." But the Mutharika family led by Bingu's brother, Thyolo East DPP MP Peter Mutharika, has rejected an inquiry, saying facts around his death after a heart attack were already known.
New Malawian President Banda Supports TB Joshua Probe Peter Mutharika said the probe is "nonsensical" and that it was an "unjustified satanic mechanisation to advance personal and political agendas". But President Banda has justified the probe said the late president was no longer a family member but a Head of State.
"All we are trying is to find out what happened, not who killed him. Is there anything we could have done to avoid his death, did he receive enough attention, why were there three different signs of date of death?" said Banda.
Sources say Mutharika family want to sweep under the carpet some "embarrassing" private issues surrounding the late president's death and the failed plot to install Peter as Head of State

Creepy 'I can't sleep letter' from Michael Jackson to Lisa Presley discovered.
Lisa Marie has not said why she wanted the letter pulled, but it's pretty clear -- Michael struggled with sleep deprivation for years until he found a quick fix in the form of Propofol.
The letter -- written sometime between 1993 and 1996, reads as follows: "Smell here [arrow with box] Lisa I truly need this rest I haven't slept litterally [sic] in 4 days now. I need to be away from phones and Business people. I must take care of my health first Im' [sic] crazy for you Love Turd.
Jackson was doctor shopping for Propofol before he hooked up with Conrad Murray.
So Julien's Auction in Beverly Hills -- the same company selling off Elvis' crypt -- has capitulated to Elvis' daughter. Owner Darren Julien tells sources, "I'm assuming it's a personal nature, and we wanted to honor the request and continue our good relationship with Ms. Presley."
We can read between the line.
